.:°Sean Bean°:.
Sean Bean was born Shaun Mark Bean on April 17th, 1959 to Brian and Rita Bean in Sheffield, Yorkshire, Great Britain. He has got a younger sister called Lorraine.
He's 5'11'' tall, has green eyes, blond hair and is quite a handsome guy, don't you think? ;) Sean Bean has got one tattoo on each of his shoulders, the one on the left saying '100% Blade', a devoted football fan's tribute to his favourite team, Sheffield United ('The Blades'), the one on the right being the elvish word for 'nine', referring to the nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring (all the members of the fellowship had that tattoo done in different places while or after shooting LOTR in New Zealand).
Sean also has a scar over his left eye that Harrison Ford gave him while shooting 'Patriot Games' in 1992.
Family: Well, he's been married and divorced 3 times: to hairdresser Debra James, actress Melanie Hill, mother of his two daughters Lorna (born in 1987) and Molly (born in 1991), and most recently to actress Abigail Cruttenden, whom Sean met on set shooting the 'Sharpe' series (she played Jane Sharpe) and who gave birth to their daughter Evie Natasha in November 1998.
Acting career: Sean Bean left school at the age of 16 and after several more or less odd jobs and discovering his acting talent at Rotheram College he auditioned for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and was chosen as one of 30 lucky people out of more than 10.000 to win a scholarship. He graduated from RADA in 1983 and in May of the same year appeared in the Watermill Theatre's production of 'Romeo & Juliet' starring as Juliet's cousin Tybalt. After that he appeared in numerous West End productions as a member of the famous Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) making his on-screen debut in a movie called 'Winter Flight' in 1984
